Technology is changing the way we listen to music and talk radio. It's all being streamed now. Why be tied to what little terrestrial radio now has to offer? WDIR streams MEGA-CONTENT. We are constantly adding new genres of talk radio programming. And our music shows have something for everyone. Our radio programming is also growing!

And the best thing? We're local! That's right... Windsor-Detroit Internet Radio. That's WDIR. No borders here. We serve our local cross-border community. We're here for our listeners, we're here for local businesses who've always wanted to advertise on radio and couldn't, and we're here to create jobs, locally.

About Us

WDIR is run by radio & communications students & grads.

The station was founded in 2010 by podcast, internet and FM radio personality BigJD, who currently produces & hosts interview and morning shows for 99.1 FM - CJAM - Windsor-Detroit.

WDIR is run locally from the Windsor-Detroit area, and our hosts are also all from the local Windsor-Detroit area. We're always looking for local talent to be a part of the team!

How To Listen

Click on the speaker up on the top right where it says LISTEN. It takes you to the WDIR player. You will also find links to listen in iTunes, Windows Media Player and Winamp, as well as a link to add WDIR to your favorite iPhone, Android or Blackberry music app.

We currently have shows airing from 8am - 11pm, 7 days a week. Some shows are live, some shows are streaming. What does that mean? It just means that some of our shows are hosted by live DJ's and some are pre-recorded. Either way, we have content on 15 hours a day.

We will be adding new shows, and eventually all our shows will be LIVE.
